connecting your first agent

iocane is framework-agnostic. any system emitting opentelemetry traces can be connected.

typical data flow:

  1. agent app emits traces via opentelemetry sdk.
  2. otel collector (local to your infra) aggregates traces.
  3. iocane cloud receives traces via otlp/http export.

the iocane connect command handles the complexity of these connections for you, ensuring keys are scoped and configuration is correct without manual copy-pasting.
